Client Requirements Naksha Studios was commissioned to design a modern, vastu-compliant residence thoughtfully tailored for a young girl with special needs. The primary focus was on creating a safe, functional, and uplifting environment that blends accessibility with contemporary aesthetics. The design integrates a barrier-free layout with wide doorways, gentle ramps, and non-slip flooring to support seamless wheelchair movement. A residential lift was incorporated for effortless vertical circulation across all floors, ensuring independence and ease of access. Safety features such as grab bars, anti-skid tiles, handrails on staircases, and sensor-based lighting were strategically implemented to enhance usability and comfort. Functional planning includes open floor layouts with ample turning radius for mobility aids, accessible kitchen counters, and customized bathrooms with foldable seating to support the resident’s daily activities. Calming pastel color palettes, natural light optimization, and soft textures create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while vastu principles ensure harmony and positive energy flow throughout the space. This residence reflects Naksha Studios’ commitment to inclusive design, where elegance meets practicality, empowering the resident to live with dignity and independence.
